A Choice by
Sinshalai
No one is perfect. What defines us, -really- defines us as humans, is not our mistakes, but how we move forward from them. The entity within you wants you to suffer, to know the shame of what you did for all eternity. It is your choice to step up and move on from it, when you're ready. The only thing holding you back is you.

Cycle of Manifestations (Anthology 2) » by
PhoenixWrites

However, it is also for my thoughts and feelings during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. I was bitter and melancholy during this period, and everything in my life seemed to fall apart before me.

Replacement (Anthology 1) » by
PhoenixWrites
These were the days when I first created the username "Phoenix Writer." I ate a late brunch while sitting in a restaurant, writing poems, and talking to my mother. While doing so, I spoke to my mom about a new internet name. We came up with several that I hardly remember anymore, but we eventually came to Phoenix Writer. That same night, I wrote the first poem.
