Hm. I'll grant that the ending hardly lives up to the rest of it and could be improved, but the rest of this isn't anything to be ashamed of. To be able to pack so much emotion and outline such a full story in so short a format is something to be proud of, in fact. It tells me the rest of your stuff is well worth reading as well, especially if you've been writing and improving all this time. :) It was a thoroughly enjoyable read!

It's good... Sounds entirely too much like my life for comfort... not the whole prostutute part, but the killing yourself with stress part DEFINITELY applies... I'm gonna wake up now...

i understood it quite well. and im only fourteen so dont have any doubts. it was an awesome story. it seemed sad that the kiddo hadda die but no story is good without new life and death sometimes hehe. 5 stars. best rating. great piece. awesome descriptions.

Very accurate potrayal of stress. Not a stess relief I would choose ;) but what the boy said is very true, we all need to just relax! Five stars and two thumbs up!

Crap was the last thing it was, and what's not to understand? I thought the ending was fine, what other way could it end? As a matter of fact, this was one of the best thing I've read in a while now. I love the way you use fresh metaphors and not old stale cliches (my favourite is the one about the egyptian cat), you're a very good writer.
