Interstingly enough, I just found my pre-cal and calculus notebooks the other day when I was cleaning out a closet at my mom and step-dad's house...then I stumble upon this poem. Trigonometry was one of the worst parts of pre-cal. I was decent enough at it, got good grades on all of the exams...but did I ever hate it. The square root of 144 = 12. I'm so glad that I know that, since I'm sure there will be so many times when I become a doctor that I will look at a patient and wonder, what is the square root of 23409-it could save this girls life! (I think it is 153). But it sure is helpful to know calculus when you take physics! I miss that old tootsie roll pop commercial...Ask Mr. Owl...

Mep! *Hides* I didn't understand any of that mathematical stuff. Maybe it's because I haven't taken trig (geomatry *blah!* But I LOVE absolutly LOVE the second to last line! Excellen job!

I have not taken Trig *yet*, but since math in general confuses me so much, I can sorta appreciate this. Oh and I just adore the ending. (my new motto... math is like a tootsie pop!)

Actually, identites seemed to be one of the easier parts of Pre-Cal class for me. Doesn't mean I don't still hate 'em though.

Ha! Thats how I feel, and I have to take a final in that class on Wednesday! Somebody save me! I like how this poem is really quick, it makes one of the most boring subjects interesting!

You are certifyably nuts. That has to be one of the most confusing jumbles of mathmatical jargon I have ever seen. And that's saying something. Tell me, is it increadibly sad that I knew the square root of 144 instantly? Or that I automatically started processing your questions? Or that I think it takes 32 licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop? I don't think I want to know...
