Purple indeed. Your hyphen-key is jammed, I take it? I did like "all the beautiful cracked-diamond emotions that come with [doubt]" very nice.
But I don't think you did what I wanted! Astarte is such a Dom, I can't stand her. Of course, I can't stand any of your femmes. Except Rowan, who is a fairly modern woman.
Enough of this, I want you to post more Cerulean Moon/ Julian Saga stories, esp. Ruan stuff. No shounen-ai, though.
