Thank you enormously for the reviews on my poems. I like this one very much - it's a lot happier than what I tend to write. The imagery is beautiful; I can see the "blossoms that cloud the sky" very clearly in my mind. Plus I love the line about the sweet smell of earth - I love to know that I'm not the only person in the world who likes the smell of dirt. :)
Keep writing -
Further up and further in,
-Raven

First of all, I want to thank you for your kind review of 'Waiting for Draco' - you made my day!
Now for my review: I really like this little poem. The language is so simple and yet it evokes such complex emotions, leaving the reader with a feeling of sheer bliss. I particularly liked the repetition and the lines:
"And all you have is but a faded memory of happier times
And all you have is the strength of despair"
in contrast with:
"As you fly into the warm open world around you
As you fly into the blossoms that cloud the sky"
Well done!
