you have an affinity with pain which, while beautiful, is also troubling. your poetry feeds on it, and it seems that the more the narrative voice hurts, the better the poetry is, but...

Wow. Well, I like it. It catches you from those first two lines, 'These are the only walls/that don't rust with time' and blends magically into the 'signs of life within my wrists'. An almost whimsical description of a topic that could have gone the opposite way. Nice writing.

I will be nice and say your poem was 'nice' and you ask if I believe in Hell you bet I do for if we're not forgiven of our sins by Lord Jesus Christ we are surely bound for hell. For no one goes to heaven only through him. I never said it was a contest I was refering to people putting down my writing all the time, you misunderstood me there. And no there are no favorites to the Lord. The meek will inherit the sames as any one else. I could go on and on about Jesus and the Bible. I'm not trying to hurt you either and this isn't a flame. keep writing!

*smile* I love the poem. It is a good portrayal of the way that life can be. {{hugs}} later~
