This is a fantastic piece of writing. The ending was written beautifully, and I feel the way you do about the aspects in the story - how silly it is for someone to fall in love with a movie star or singer, or how other artists (such as the aforesaid Britany Spears) don't really have a personality, and how they act how people want them to act.

Nice that you've grown out of the Spice Girls - a true sign of growing up! But seriously, it can be so weird changing and looking back and seeing how different you are - you describe it really well.
