An unusual story... but I'm surprised no one has reviewed. It's good! Only thing I notice is your sentences are all structured the same way... pronoun (or occaisionally the noun), verb, etc. Try putting dependent clauses at the beginning or at least see if you can find really strong nouns and verbs.
