I hope you didn't actually turn this in a pass? But I find it extremely hilarious, only you did mispell pharaohs but it added to the comedic performance. Very funny, har de har har!

Hahaha! I liked the part about Mel Brooks' History of the World! I love that movie! The 'King Tut' and the 'Duke of Earl' song referances were simply great! Are you going to do more? I think you ought, I loved this!

LOL! Hilarious! "So-crates" and "The inquisition, what a show, the inquisition, here we go!" THAT WAS HILARIOUS! And the sad part is I know a lot of people who would say that too. This was so funny!

WONDERFUL STORY! I read it to my sister and the two of us feel sorry for you. It must have been torture to be in class with such incompetents. Could I bring this in to my history teacher? He would love it!

Usually satires are supposed to be making fun of something. Are you making fun of people ignorant of history? If so they are sort of an easy target.

Funny! But it is so sad that some people actually think these things. Ugh. But I like this "essay". It's hilarious.

The fact that people actually believe things like that really frightens me. I am a history nut, and therefore, am appalled at the misinterpertations some have. This is funny and well written, and I really enjoyed reading it.

Hilarious. Sadly, I HAVE heard quite few of these answers in my history classes. Of course, I took history in French, so here are the translations from teacher and text that I thought were good:
"The depression was very dull and depressing."
"How many players are on the Canadian Olympic hockey team? (All of them). No no, none of the Canadians are from Canada!"
"Aren't you proud that hockey is part of our national fence." (In french, clOture is "fence", cULture is culture")
"The Americans bombed our shoes!" Souliers-Soldats.whatever.
And this from the textbook:
"At the Munich conference, the Nazis planned to secretly murder 11 million people." How is it possible to secretly murder 11 millon people? "Gee, where are all the Jews?"
I realize that this was completely irrevevant, but oh well.
