Oh, this is nice, it really is. "Prowls the realm of my heart" is a lovely phrase, and I'd happily nick it for myself were it not for the fact that rabbits (I'm a lapine type meself) and prowling don't really go together all that well... =;)
The impression of unease at the narrator's (your, I guess) leonine nature is interesting; maybe I'm reading more into this than I should, but it feels like the awkwardness is something from the past, that's now been smoothed over.
PS regarding your bio: Suck blood? Where *did* people get that idea? Vampire furs - hm, maybe there's an idea in there! =;)
