From the opening of this it's like a curled upper lip, detesting someone by beauty. (Like telling someone in French you hate them so they don't know what you're saying). You use rhyme and repitition wonderfully. Another one of my favourites, next to "My Sweet, Androgynous 'Lover'."

I am now aching internally, yet staring in bedazzlement externally. Perfect words. Genious. I don't care that this is romance (I usually boycott it)- this goes in the favourites!

was this supposed to be a song? it's a little awkward in the rhythm department. still it's a good read.
you are really brilliant

'Beautiful' sums it up. Being a mom, makes me think of my little girls and all I've watched them go through growing up. Where was you heart when you wrote this? Or should I ask, who was on your heart?

"Hello, beautiful
and aren’t you brave
you bear your cross
and dig your grave
like it’s nothing...nothing...
Hello, beautiful
and aren’t you sweet
You’ve got stars in your hair
and hearts on your feet
with broken wings
and you’ll fly back to me someday
and talk to me about the most
treacherous things
Hello, beautiful.
Hello, beautiful."
Oh, that's got to be one of the most beautiful things I've read today (I went to a scary mental hospital, and there were the most incredible poems on the wall)...I really really really admire your writing skills, and God, I envy them like hell.

Forgive my current ineptness at reviewing.
To me this seems like a contrast between light and dark, like the light of the beautiful, innocent one who will lose her innocence, interacting with the darkness of one already jaded. I could just be a fruitcake. Anyway.I liked this.

Well, I like it. Gives me happy vibes.
I wish I could write a nifty tune to go along with this. Unfortunately, my skills in that department are severely lacking. D:

Awesome song. It all flows wonderfully together, and the phrases easily work with one another. Can imagine an awesome tune to go with it. Great job
