apparently california doesn't know how to properly ease into spring. it's either not at all - winter kabaams right into summer - or it sputters a few false starts like an old car. [kicks california] I hate it here.

but about the poem, yes:

I love the imagery. love love love it. I don't know why, but I can't seem to put images to words like this, at least not for nature. [shrug] anyway, v. v. good job!

Oh! You are an exceptional poem writer . very descriptive and yummy. *nod* . I see too many poems elsewhere that don't describe enough, and are really, really vague. But yours rocks!

And Juncos are adorable . we see Eastern Juncos (I think that's what they're called) in our backyard near wintertime. They're slate gray with light beaks and white bellies. So cute!
