Wow, amazing piece of work, and from what I have seen of your other poems, your talent really shows. Your friend TK must be a very lucky person to have such a beautiful poem in his honor. Once again, great work!

Great work. Extremely well-written. I loved the line "I am a mere pawn of your language." Greta work, keep writing :)

A very lovely dedication.
I wanted to thank you for the reviews, and explain about "Broken". First of all, I did not take offence at your words, I was rather thankful you pointed those things out. Second, I would like to say that that was my plea, not for Him to break my spirit but to break my willfulness, that I might be only a servant and not thinking of myself. Once again thank you for the reviews and I can tell that there was real feeling behind them.

Oh, wow. You really have a gift with words. The imagery here is beautiful; I especially liked the lines, "coating my typed words in a golden glaze." I understand exactly how you feel; I've been lucky enough to have some really supportive and inspirational friends as well. You just manage to phrase your thanks far better than I could ever hope to! =p
Great work; really moving.

i have to agree, this was a very moving piece, and im sure TK's gonna be reading the poem every once in a while. i liked how u started it all, with the
"rich honey,
coating my typed words in a golden glaze
"
"Whatever word or image that first caught your notice,
or phrase that reached into your soul
recalling summer lit nights by a silver moon,
I thank..."
this was another small piece that struck me as beautiful when i first read it, mainly about the 'summer lit nights by a silver moon', just how it was worded... wow.
"...inspiration... that evasive, elusive source for the writer’s pen..."
this was yet another interesting part, showing that, while this is a dedication, u still somehow manage to capture that this applies to everyone as well as urself. it is true, it is hard to find inspiration, and sometimes that inspiration comes in the ones we love, such as ur friend TK, or from simple things like daily images we see, finding new meaning in them when we look at them from a different angle or perspective.
all in all this is a very beautiful poem, very elegant with the wording, yet having a universal feel to it also. i love the imagery, like the honey coated keys and the summer nights, as well as how u "...become as clumsy, as some awkward youth, in love-struck passion..." just reading it over again, i still cannot find any other word but beautiful for this poem, and with this i dont find it repetitive at all (tho i hate being repetitive... *pulls out handy-dandy Thesaurus, grins*).
fantastic work once again, and the dedictee (is that even a word? o well, it is now!) must be very touched that u would do somethin like this, expressing ur hearts love and admiration for someone so fragile, yet giving wat u find urself in lack of at times (as do we all). but until next time, keep up the fantastic work and hopefully we can talk online soon. take it easy.
