I am not sure what to say, except exquisite, beautiful, divinely brilliant, are not near enough praise.

You mind-influencer, you.
You're right, you know-life is vibrantly colored, but death is like faded reds and blues. Pastels. Washed out. I really like this part:
For life is what governs
Life is what gives
Life is what measures
Life is what lives
And the ending, too:
But life is opposed to the alternative:
Death.
Keep up the excellent work!

It was good ryming at first but it went off beat and off ryme at times. If you decide to make a ryming poem, then stick to the ryming.

P.S. Leave crazymax alone. She writes nicely.

That's a really powerful poem. At first I wasn't sure if you were talking about a specific 'she' or something more abstract - I still might be wrong.
But I especially like the last few lines:
"Life can breed frailty Life can halt breath
But life is opposed to the alternative:
Death"
