So as an actress and techie I found this quite interesting.
As an actress I got bit in the head during a scene change once, and it was my fault, not the techie who was moving the bench that I was sitting on in the scene. And yes that was bit, not hit. Kind of painful.
I'm definitely going to show these to the other techies that I know.

Oh wow. This was gloriously amazing. I am an actor who stands in as a techie on some occasions and find it both hilarious and brutally true. you are my new favorite person. I am going to show this to our techies, maybe even post it in the god box. It'll be awesome.

I've seen these on another website before, and a rigging guy at our theatre gae a paper with something of these things on it. Our shirts actually said "Glow Tape" on it for our musical last year. GO TECHIES!

that was about the best way i've ever heard it put. my brother's a techie, and he complains to me of all these things. i am the actor in the family, therefore, it proves that there are always exceptions to the rules. i'm going to show this to him ASAP.

HAH! THOSE ARE SO TRUE!
I'm an actress, but since my past directors have been major a-holes, I've been stuck as a techie/backstage crewmember, so i get the best of both worlds.
This was awesome. And so utterly true!

Heheheheheh. I remember this. However, Terry-chan, you forgot to mention that you didn't come up with this! We found it in the light booth. ~snicker~ Light booth...Shiranai...yeah, anyways. I think my favorite has to be the last one. We found out the hard way just how much you're not supposed to use the glow tape, because the stage was definitely like an airport. ~lol~
