Excellent poem! So true and so well-spoken.

This is going right into my Favorite Story list...

Excellent poem! *clap clap*

I agree with everything you have to say. I even wrote some angry poems too about this situation (although only two are posted on ff.net)

Though my viewpoint differs from yours, I respect your opinion and like the way you expressed it in this poem. You managed to bring up a valid point with factual evidence to back it up. Rather than blindly calling Bush evil like some antiwar poets, you pointed out the US's flaws as well as Bush's without going over the limit. Though I'm no fan of Saddam and am glad Bush got rid of him, however he may have done it, there are many other countries that pose bigger threats that are being completely ignored or acknowledged as allies to the US. My belief still remains, however, that no matter what president we may have and no matter how he got to that position, whether by fair or corrupt election or removal/death/resignation of the previous president, the nation should support him and our troops if we go to war, whether we like the war or not. But anyway, nice poem.

Gorgeous. You're right, this is very angry, but that's what makes it ring true. Maybe I'm biased because I agree with you, but I really like the emotion that's behind every word of this poem. The government needs to answer these questions, or at least explain their agenda.

Mentioning the looting in Baghdad and destruction of Iraqi libraries might also fit in here; just an idea.

Great work!
