Wow...I read this story today, and it's really good! You have a lot of talent. I think it could definately be published..And if/when it does, I wanna go out and get the book.
Damon was always my favorite of all the guys. His chuldhood suffering definately pulled on my heartstrings... Poor boy. =( But now he doesn't seem so sad.

This story is quite interesting, and it kept me entertained very well. You said your were thinking of another title? I'm saying you should incorperate the island and its mist into the heading, as most of this story is based on Mist Island. Just a suggestion, mind you. Write on!

Hey again, I finished it a few hours ago but forgot to review. The story was very impressive and undoubtedly very different from what you would usually read in this kind of category. I loved how you subtly described the character's feelings. It was not overdramatic as you would usually see on most stories. A very good read :D

A pretty well written story overall. Very impressive use of words :D I'm only up to this chapter, though I'm a very slight bit disappointed at the lack of heart-felt romance. Don't take it against me when I say this because this is only my point of view and not what other people think. Plus I'm a very sad romantic at heart, so that's probably why XD

Wow.. very good story. I enjoyed it a lot. I didn't think you got morbid or anything, as you said you might in the beginning, so don't worry about that. The only thing that i didn't think was very realistic was some of the language. some of the cussing seemed a little more modern than this story deserved. I don't have any ideas for a title, but i agree that if it were to be published it would need a new title.. very good job!

EXCELLENT story! I stumbled across this a while ago, but I confess the I just now got around to reading it - and I'm kicking myself for not doing so sooner! I love the way you characterized everyone in such complete detail, especially Damon. At times I would hate him for being so cruel to Dom, but then I would see how truly kind he could be. Publishing is a great idea, but I would perhaps, show a bit more of his change. Also, at times you put "Xianian" when I think you meant "Xian"...just a few suggestions. Anyway, GREAT job, I would totally buy it if it got published - let me know if it does! (As far as a title goes, I'll think on it, but so far I can't come up with anything better) Nice job, keep writing!

This story is very good, and I suggest that you get it published. If you do, post a notice on the site, with the title. As for the title...The only thing I came up with is Jade Princess. (Unimaginative, I know.) Keep up the good work, I hope to read more by you in the future.

heygreat job on this story! Ancient China is very fascinating to me and I had always loved the Chinese dramas about them. in fact, I play an ancient chinese instrument called the "gu zheng", a string instrument with 21 strings, mainly because I had fell in love with its music from the shows.
I read somewhere in the chapter author notes that you liked Draco/Hermione fics right? Me too! haha I was first at fanfiction, then came to fictionpress and now, I am probably spending too much time reading these wonderful original stories.anyway, i really enjoyed reading about Aiden and I think it's sweet that Damon and Aiden got together at the end.awesome job! :-)

hey I actually finished the story already but yesterday when reading, the fictionpress site won't let me review, saying I had already reviewed even though i had just finished reading that chapter.
so I thought I would come back and review right now since I really enjoyed reading the story and I think more reviews will also encourage more readers to read this great fic lol.
I suppose by now, you must be in college since you had taken the old SAT. well, I have taken the new SAT just in October (and plan to take it again soon) and the stupid test is giving me a headache with all the scoring system out of 2400 now.

it seems like the "Yun-nan bai yao " sounds like Chinese characters to me. since I am Chinese I pronounced those words using the Chinese phonics (do you know hanyupinyin?)anyway I am not sure...but the story plot is very fascinating and I really like the character Damon :-)

hi there. very well written story! I usually don't read much fantasy but I do like heroines/strong female characters like Aidan. Damon and Tempest are very intriguing and I am also eager to find out the secrets of Aidan.
