I knew it, I knew it! Damon and Aiden (Jade) were going to end up together in some sort. I liked that she was the one that 'rescued' him, took him back home, to a place he'd always wanted to go. Great job! Thanks for writing.

I'm really fond of Damon, just to let you know. This story is great so far, but the author notes here and there throughout the story can be kind of distracting. I'm excited to see where Damon and Aiden's relationship goes.

I just stumbled upon this story, and was at first a bit hesitant in reading it, but once I started, I found it hard to stop. If you do end up publishing this, please do update this story and let us know what its published title will be.
I really enjoyed the wuxia elements present in this story. The complex characters were well done too (although I do see room for further development).
I found Aiden/Princess Jade's personality...familiar, which perhaps made this story all the more appealing to me. But I also enjoyed all the other characters you created, especially Wit, Avery, and Damon.
Anyway, thanks for sharing and posting this on fictionpress.

1) a long time ago, you said that Melodt is 10 and Tempest is 19. You recently changed it to Melody being 12 and Tempest 22. What's with that?
2) To, two, too. There's a difference.
3) Example of a problem you've had (not from your story): "Don't I know you," she asked? ; It should be: "Don't I know you?" she asked.
Other than that, you're golden :)

I loved this story and all the action. The main character was especially fun to read about. The ending was great and tied up everything nicely.
