I know that the likelihood of you updating this story is closer to the negative end of the spectrum, but I'd still just like to let you know that I still think it's great, and I'm really happy you put as much effort into it as you did. I've gone back and re-read this so many times now, and I'm amazed that it's still a beautiful story. Kudos :)

Woud you ever update this story again?
I just found it, I never read anything like this before.
Your characters seem to be so weak in sanity, and strangely enough end up pulling it together, that I cannot help but love them.
It is very strange how things can change and you hope they get better but at the same time you want Kaelin and Joaquin to still doubt each other.
The whole Joaquin not being perfect is probably one of the things I love most. Sure he is the love interest and what not, but he is a bastard as well. As much as he wants to fight it, he cannot help but be a bastard. He said it before, that it was in his nature to be delighted for Kaelin to scream. It gave him pleasure, and that is one of the things he cannot fight with himself.
It takes him over and he fights it, but the damage is always prevailing at the end.
Nicodemus is also someone that confuses me. He seems to regret all much of his decisions concerning Kaelin. There is no doubt that he loves her, and what not.
You know how in the first chapter Kaelin says that Nicedemus just kind of became a factor in her life but not really anything that mattered anymore to her. She said that she didnt hate him or love him, but in later chapters its like she realizes how much she really did love him, as a sister would love a brother.
It's like she is forgiving too much, her life was taken away, and she gave up. Sure she doesn't attempt to run away, but she doesn't embrace her life with Joaquin.
Nicodemus is a walking oxymoron. I think he is one of the characters that you never know if he would be the one that really ends up being the villain or the one that saves both, Kaelin and Joaquin.
Anyways I wish that there was more to read. Like I said I just found this story and I had to read it. I fell for it and now I want to know if there is a chance for you to update soon.
I just hope that you do, continue on the story.

I just read all of this story and I must say that its really good. As the story goes on the plot and flow definately improve and make it easier to read.Who is this Josephine? Will we learn more about her in the future? Or is it enough to know that she was his lover long ago and she died because he couldn't save her. The guilt that haunted him from that, probably for centuries, I would venture to guess is part of the reason he is the way he is.I'm glad Kaelin is waking up to the truth in her relationships. Its interesting to see what really happened while she was in the vampire's house, place. I'm glad Kairbre isn't as nice as he seemed to begin with, because that would have made me start thinking that he would be better for Kaelin. And no one is as perfect or nice as he seemed.I'm starting to warm up to Joaquin. He isn't as mean as he wants people to think, and I love that.

I've been eager to be able to understand Joquin more. I'm glad he feels guilt and feels weak for what he did. Yet, that's what makes it hard to hate him...
