It's good. I like your style and your descriptions. There are a few grammer and spelling errors- but they're not a major problem.
I was surprised when I had a look at your stories. You've written 4 and they're all completed. Thats a major effort there. Good work. I'll have to read them.
I'm liking this story so far. I'm not really sure what's going on but there are a lot of good mysterious hints throughout. I'm not really good at writing reviews when the story is already finished because I don't know what you say other than good job and the like. Anyway, good job! lol

Great work! I have to comment on how you characterize them though, before I forget. At the begining of the story, Manda comes off as a bit insecure (because she trails off and replies quickly to accusation), but during her initial confrontation with Pearl, it seems like she was temporarily possed by a different person when she replied cooly.
I also have to mention that the first thought I had when I started reading and encountered Pearl's character, she seems like a cliche bad-girl.
I do not know if you are familiar with fanfiction, but Pearl's personality is exactly like the fandom!Draco Malfoy (from the Harry Potter books). If you where to ask a HP Fanfiction fan who has not read your work to describe fandom Draco, you would notice the simularities.
The reason I compared the two characters is because they are done a lot.

Hi! I've finally made it to review some member stories. I've only made it to the first chapter because my lunch hour is quickly running out, but I thought I'd drop in a quick review anyway.
So the whole wife-murder thing was a little bizzare, only because it seems to have come out of no where, but other than that I really enjoyed your first chapter. There are already some great relationships forming, and all of your characters seem pretty well defined. I actually know an Amy Johnson... except her hair is long and red, not short and blonde :)
Anyways, I'll keep on reading, and let you know what I think further down the line.

that was a great ending. i liked the way you tied up all the loose ends and such. the only thing that was a bit odd was that kill-or-be-killed situation. it was weord for the killer to give his victim a knife like that and expect them to cooperate. ya know?
aahh well. minor detail. anyway. wonderful story. ill be looking into that second one later. kay, buh byee. have fun, kid.
