Excellent, most excellent. This strongly reminded me of a nursery rhyme - whether or not it was intented to be one, I have no idea (O.o) but it reminded me of one! ^^ Well done.

*grins* I think you sent this one to me, so I have it sitting somewhere in Microsoft Word, but I had to comment on it again. This is probably one of my favorite poems of yours; I love the way it's written, it sort of puts me in mind of the 'cow jumped over the moon' song in Lord of the Rings. Which I love. Now I'll have to memorize this thing, so I can recite it to myself when bored or in need of cheering up. ^^

Now THAT was cute. You should submit that to a magazine, or something, because that's just perfect. The meter stays, the rhyme scheme is easy to read/listen to, and the imagery is really nice. Especially the Samalander dancing with the secretary bird. ;)
