Rain truly is a blessing,in many cultures the rain god/goddess is among the most powerful. In China, it is the dragon, who has power over life and death! Great word usage!

cool! the word 'moisture' in the last line (while it is definitely a great word) threw me off a little, but otherwise i'm enraptured by this lil' piece! i especially loved the reference to Venus in the second line, because i'm a mythology freak and i find them fascinating - much the way i find your haikus fascinating. 'sprinkles of blessing' . . . that's so pretty. reminds me of fairy dust. :) good one!

Really sad, it made me cry. At the climax, I activated my bookmark! That is BIG DEAL! Great job, Gordon! Oink oink, haha that part cracked me up. I would love to read the 47th chapter but I must go sacrfice my sister Queech Quon the the god of toilet paper! AHZAH!
