This story brought me to tears. The good kind, and the...depressing kind. I read it in four days, and I loved it. The characters were really well-portayed. Even the grammar was nearly spot-on. This was one of the best stories I think I have ever read.

I really liked this Chapter, I like the spin on things you put.

...Everyone's dead. *lower lip trembles* Wah! I'm so freakin' depressed now... Great. Thanks a LOT. It was great. Such a great story. Don't kill the characters. Have a happy ending, it makes for not-teary readers. :) Wow, that was one of the BEST ever. But I'm still crying. Why couldn't it have stopped whn they were like, 25 or 30? Nobody's gotta die... Still... pretty freaking amazing.

I like the idea of this story, but I just couldn't get into it. The dialogue seemed a little forced and not very teen-like. I know it was addressed, but everything seemed to happen too quickly and coincidentally. Being made partners, abusive boyfriend, falling in love.
It just wasn't my cup of tea. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining about the story. I just wanted to let you know my thoughts in case you were to decide on edits or something in the future.

This is not so much of a review as it is praise. I read this story years ago. At the time, it was only a couple chapters in, and I remember what a joy it was when it was updated, and then finally finished.
This story is single-handedly responsible for my love of slash fics, and the style it was written in has impacted my own writing in my life.
I remember when there were talks of having it published, and I check back here on FP now and then just to see if it's available to buy yet. Well, though it doesn't appear to be the case, I'm thankful it's still up here, because I want to recommend it to all my friends on LiveJournal now that I know it's still here.
Anyway, This fic led me to other fantastic slash writers on here (since gone), and it seems that I can't read any stories without comparing them to the slash greats that were present here on FP.
Sean, Matt, Nate, Jake...I occasionally use these names in my own writing as a way of paying homage to this fic. I still think of the wedding in Toronto and the scared-straight baby, or the accidental kiss in the record shop. Matt and his jack-ass father. Or the pervy, snoopy sisters. Everything.
Ever heard of Lulu, by chance? Well, I suppose since I'm anon I won't know the answer. But if this is ever sold on Lulu, I hope the link will be available on your FP profile.
