wow, very interesting . . . it actually made me think (and i'm brain-dead right now, so that's saying something :P). okay, i don't know why exactly, but the italicized 'rendevous' is mystifying me . . . i'm entranced or something. it's like a grand flourish, it makes the 'r' roll eloquently in my brain. really, i'm getting this vision of the first encounter of two soul mates, which is absolutely awesome. like it muchly. great job!
