Just remember that the only thing that makes good poetry is that it comes from the heart.
I hope you don't feel forced to mention God, have a happy ending, etc. in every poem just because you are a Christian (not that those thing's aren't good). I have writen some very joyful poems and others that end with a wish to die. Anyway, keep up the good work!

Wow... what can I say. That was beautifully written. You seem to be so much like me. :) Your poem has flow, and it definitely has a point. It's not very trite, as most of the poems I read on here are! Good job. :)
