Holy hell, I like the whole flow of the poem and the atmosphere it creates within its words. Very intriguing! ^^ Yay for you!

Wow, I really like this. It's very somber and powerful, and I love the ending lines. Beautiful!

wow...sounds like a warrior at the end of a battle...alone and gathering courage and the strength to continue on the journey.

I like this a lot...I don't have much to SAY about it, per se, but I enjoyed that. I especially like how you ended it-it was perfect! The rhyme and profoundness of what you said...yeah. It was totally awesome. lol ^_^ Good job! ~MJ

Any of the 3 in the morning good/crazy/nuts stuff I usually love, and this isn't any exception. Poems that don't have any punctuation usually tweak me a bit, but here I think it just adds to the ideas. The images were striking. "Alone I crouch/I stand/I shiver as water seeps into my flesh and bones." I liked how at the end the narrator couldn't see him/herself fitting into the category of a hero or a coward.

Of course you deserve a review, because this poem was phenomenal. "Greater ones may call me mad/Mad though I may be". I loved that.

This is a very good poem. First off, I love the ending. I always think that the endings are the hardest parts of poems, and you did an awesome job on this. This poem touched really close to home, when I think about myself staying up at night, until the line about water, were I kind of lost it. This is a very good poem. I hope you write some more!

i liked how simple it was, and how you made is seem so powerful with just a few words.

OOh, I love the imagery of this piece! So dark, lonely, and beautifully crafted. I love the first opening lines: "I speak to the light and the darkness/I speak to them so that they may know my name." I think we spend much of our lives shouting into the unknown, hoping that somehow, we'll eventually be heard. Very well done.
