this is really good. it lays bare a very true and tragic component of society. right in the middle, i lost the rhythm/poeticness for a space, but you picked it up again at the end, so no harm done. :) the title was fantastic. my favorite lines are: "heaven forbid i never follow my heart," "nothing can destroy the elusive black sheep," and "but there is still happiness in holding someone, anyone, close." a very good piece of poetry. nice work. :)

Can I just say... I love this and I can understand EXACTLY. I'd rather have a girl too, obviously, and I don't care what society says because I want to be happy. You worded this poem very well, I hope maybe you'll take the chance to read some of my poems ^-^ great piece of work.

Nothing wrong with feeling like that. I understand how you feel about boys. I'm personally not bi, but a friend of mine is, so I know what you mean when you say that girls are more willing to open their hearts. Women just seem to be more sensitive than men. Excellent poem.
