Oh...This reminds me of some people I know, again, but I receive an opposite effect from them, very different from the Thomas people. Right down to the hackysack and safety pins. As you stated in the summary, I barely know them as well, even though I thought I did for a while there.
This has an amazing flow to it and I love how you used the repetition. It's beautiful in one of my most favorite of ways.

You've got a rhyme scheme here that I've never seen before, and it's quite good. The imagery is great, too - I get a very clear picture of him. Excellent work.

Wow, the structure on this poem is awesome! ^_^ The opening lines are intriguing, somehow, and catch attention well. The overall mood fits the subject, if you understand what I mean.
