If brains were gasoline, you wouldn't have enough to drive an ant's Go-cart around the inside of a bottle cap. You're just another Internet-addicted idiot suffering from diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the mind. If you knew what you're talking about, you'd be dangerous. I suggest you need Mark Twain's advice; "It is better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."
You are about as entertaining as watching grass grow in a windowbox. What do you do for a living? You are living, aren't you? You have the warm personal charm of a millipede and about as much class as a bucket of mucous lodged on top of a dumpster in a Blue Light district of New Jersey. Maybe you wouldn't come across as such a jellyfish-sucking mental midget if you weren't an 'idiot savant' without the 'savant' part; if the chief excitement in your meaningless life wasn't spotting people who are fatter than you are, or if you didn't have a face that is registered as a biological weapon. No, come to think of it, you would.
Now, if you care to apologize for wasting my shamefully wasted time, I'll consider accepting it.-raptor

Samuel, simply because I did not agree with your meritocracy does not give you reason to disagree in such a unenlightened manner. If you don't wish to give my ideas any credit than kindly remove your reviews from my works. Simply acknowledging my words is more than enough to give my ideas credit. This is just one more brainwashed neo-conservative saying thank you for pointing out the stupidity of the loyal opposition in America.

Last century the number was millions (the Kuomintang murdered perhaps 4 or 5 million during its time in power on the mainland.

Firstly I'll say this:
1. I didn't agree with the Iraq War, but I shan't go into details on why right here.
2. I do agree with you that even if a person doesn't agree with the initial invasion, they must surely agree with the occupation - if they have any capacity for logical thought. Having been plunged into chaos Iraq needs foreign troops to create some semblance of order. Without them Iraq will become another crazed Islamic theocracy (like its neighbour). Of course this may yet happen anyway... we shall see.
3. Your comments that Afghanistan seems to be improving are a little overly idyllic. Afghanistan is as bad now as it was following the Soviet invasion - Afghanistan is a screwed up country due to internal racial nationalism and religious strife (nationalism and religion, working their wonders yet again).
4. The history of US foreign policy is far from being the history of virtue - the US has supported innummerable fascist dictators in the past - in Latin America, in Asia (most notably Chiang Kai-shek - and his Kuomintang). The number of murders committed by US allies - think the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan - is beyond count. Indeed this century the number is several hundreds of thousands - possibly over a million.
5. If the US were really a power for good in the world - as its brainwashed, nationalist supporters claim - it would be doing away with regimes that make Hussein's look rather plesant and benevolent. In Myanmar a hundred thousand US troops would easily overthrow the incumbent regime and encounter almost no resistance afterwards. Unlike in Muslim countries, where any 'infidel' is thoroughly despised beyond reason... the population of Myanmar would readily support the US if that power backed Aung San Suu Kyi (the democratically elected leader of Myanmar and a nobel peace prize laureate). There wouldn't be a prolonged guerilla movement in Myanmar. There wouldn't be bombings and violent interacial conflict. And one of the world's worst regimes would be gone. But Myanmar has no oil. Nor do most of the war torn Sub-Saharan African nations that have far worse records than Baathist Iraq. And those that do are willing to give their oil to US companies anyway - so their human rights abuses go unnoticed. In short realise this: there are many, many, many regimes as bad or worse than Hussein's - but many are of little interest economically and aren't yet opposed to the US so successive ineffectual governments in the US are willing to let them slide. Once you start preaching the destruction of these vile abominations I might pay your talk of freedom and liberation some credit. Until then I shall assume you are just another brain-washed, conservative nationalist.

Sorry to pick you up on some really nitpickety points, but:
1) The invasion of Iraq was called "Operation Enduring Freedom".
2) Jose Maria Aznar was Prime Minister, not President, of Spain.
3) The generally agreed spellings of Osama Bin Laden's terrorist network are al-Qua'ida and al-Qua'eda.
4) England is not an independent country. In an essay such as yours it would be correct to refer to the country in question as the "United Kingdom" (UK for short), and its inhabitants as "British".
Thanks for taking these points on board - just trying to work towards more accurate debate.

Thank you for your review and POSITIVELY disagreeing with. I ESPECIALLY like how you used no insults and you didn't ask me to go read the Constitution (I have no idea what that is supposed to mean!).
*
I honor your ideas and your freedom of speech to say them. You must understand that I am NOT a Democrat! I am neutral in politics, looking for the truth over the propaganda. The propaganda you freely reprint here. I might as well be listening to the media's lies (including NPR), though. I see nothing different here.
*
People believd that Nixon was innocent, too. And milins of our hard-earned money was wasted over the non-entity that was Clinton Gate.
*
It is easy to be decived, sometimes we invite it for comfort. Mark Twain said: "Supposn' is good, finding out is better." So, that is what I do.

And of course. The United Kingdom doesn't exist does it? Nevermind the fact that they were in the war as well but Oh no the Americans are just much much more important than anyone else on this earth.

I was against the war in Iraq but I'm for the rebuilding effort. What the Spanish government did was a big mistake. Whether or not the invasion was a total error or not, they just gave what the terrorists want. What happened a year before is in the past and the goal now is to get Iraq on standing on its own two feet.

"If they get out now then maybe there won't be any more bombs like this."
And so shows the pacifism of James Jago...tuck your tail between your legs and run. You're right James, tell the bad guys "you win" and it will all go away right? Because it's worked all those other times. You'd like a Brit would know appeasement doesn't work, but no, he's just a whiny pacifist...and since you won't respond to the emails james, yes, I'm calling you a whiny little girl. "Oh they might get more bombs"-yes, some more innocent people might die, but it will show that they can still stand up to the terrorists. They're called "terrorists" for a reason you idiot-they USE TERROR. If they get what they want, as what Spain did, then they WIN. That what you want James? You want them to win? For these idiots to win, you're going to have to give Spain and France back to the Arabs-Islamic law states that once a land is conquered by Islam it can never be under any other law. And guess what Spain and France used to be under? ISLAMIC LAW!
You're right, we could learn something from the Spanish-its what NOT to do. Israel is going to pull out soon, but only because the wall works and they dont need to be there anymore. And then what happens if they keep bombing James? Then what? You want Israel to just give up and leave?
What if the terrorists come out tomorrow and say "Spain, you need to attack the USA or we're gonna blow something else up?"
Then what James? You got a brilliant answer for that too? Pacifist fools like yourself only make the world more dangerous.

What are they supposed to do, sacrifice more innocent lives for the sake of a war the majority of Spanish people didn't want? If they get out now then maybe there won't be any more bombs like this. Pig-headed adherence to high-minded adherence to the principle of not negotiating with terrorists has turned Israel into a warzone and prolonged the pointless campaign for ownership of Northern Ireland by decades. Frankly, we could all learn something from the Spanish.

Well said Calvin. I never thought we'd see the day when we'd have to babysit Europe now too. All Spain did was give a victory to the bad guys. No worries, with Pakistan fighting hard, that victory could soon me nothing at all. Fingers crossed.

Two things from the third paragraph:
"How can some people claim that they would prefer madmen like Saddam remain in control rather then see a hyperpower flex its muscles."
