Great poem!
Somehow really works, I don't read alot of poetry... but i find it funny how sometimes the less words there are the clearer it is... m hopefully you get what I mean. I think this poem somehow really captures the feeling of sort of allways wearing a mask, of pretending so life can go by... And the fact that this image/feeling can be conveyed by so few words I find amazing. Sorry if i'm not coherent,

But the word conform will always arouse our contempt and some people *strange & suspicious cough that sounds a lot like popular people* will always pretend.
But we'll always be real, right punk-friend?

cool. I didn't read the summary. I gather it talks about the insecurities of the in-crowd. Am i right?
It's totally cool. I love it.

As long as we "pretend" there is a great divide, there always will be. Some say human nature means it will always be, and if so, be content to walk on your side of the river, you can still catch the same fish.
