I love your descriptions..."the liquid amber sun"...it's sad, but it's good. I love your poems! ALL OF THEM! You are so good at this...keep writing!

That was a charm of a poem. It wasn't exactly a haiku. But hey! It was beautiful. The way you use your words make them seem so different and magical. Beautiful! *claps wildly*

yeah i kinda missed a beat there, dumb me. blah, call it being "one with my imperfections" or some bs like that. "special" or "unique" works too... hmm thanks for all the nice reviews people, its lovely.

I know nothing of haikus.
I just started writing something similar called "katautas" which is 3 unrhymed lines of 5/7/7 syllables. There is another name where you double this: 5/7/7 5/7/7) which is cool because the two can answer each other, like the first being from a baby's point of view and the second being from the mother's! You might try this, they are fun!
Mine are "Pomegranite Seeds". "A Protest Against Meachanical Time", "Love Laughs" and another, I forget. These wil give an idea.
BUT I do LOVE these! The imagry is so very VERY rich! Very evocative!
Yes, yes, very cool indeed! I also love to review, this is like my (goes to check, brb ...) three-hundred and fouty-first (341!) review! and, I have only been a member since ... 10-25-03! woo-hoo! Each one is unique and written especially for each poem. So, there you are! ;-)

This isn't really a haiku but:
The first half is really warm and the second is really cold. I like that and never experienced it before.

Wow! Honestly... wow! That was amazing! You think you suck at haiku... haha, you are sadly mistaken... now I feel shamed for the crap I put up, lol. Anyway, nice job! And thanks for the review!

Wow wow wow wow, why haven't I read you extensively yet? This is awesome. Lovely, unique, innovative phrasing...I can't even pick a favorite line, because they're all awesome! Gorgeous imagery.

Wonderful imagery! This is very good, and if it is indeed only "a bumbling attempt at haikuness", I can't wait to see what you'll come up with when you've gotten past that stage.
Thanks also for the review, it's much appreciated ^_^

Well, I love sunsets, too. I suppose it's just their sheer beauty that captivates me as does this poem. There is very nice imagery and I like the mixture of sadness and nature. Had you not said anything, I would not have thought or realized that this was a first try, which makes this haiku even better.
