One of my favorite moments of my childhood is catching fireflies in the dusk of summer, putting as many as I could in an old, cleaned peanut butter jar with holes punched in the lid, and leaving them on a table in my room as an ethereal nightlight. Thanks so much for this for it has made me remember.

i read this last night, and i have been thinking abt it all day. it made me dream abt fireflys and presents and joy. its a really beautiful ... story? poem? i love how you use so few words, put in all the right places to make it very beautiful. one of my faves.
