This reads almost as five poems in one. Almost every stanza could stand as its own haiku on itself. Well done. The only thing I would change would be to eleminate the redundant use of 'leaves' in the first stanza.

This is an awesome poem. I could just picture in my mind, myself walking along a dim hallway, peering around a corner to see what lurks ahead. So many times has my imagination run astray. Keep up the good work.
