I will waste my life arguing against an argument at which at its core is a simple, basic logical fallacy. I will spend my life arguing against something no more likely then Zeus or Father Christmas, fighting against something so absurd it should have never been conceived. What a crusade huh, what a crusade.

Fuck I think fuguru fancies me, she always seem to review. Girls just love my sarcastic, sexist and arrogant attitude.

Life sucks.

Haha. I love it. Though my opinion on the subject mainly centers around the fact that the media is male-dominated, and...let's face it...guys really don't like seeing other guy's butts. Oh well. Nice essay anyway.

This is AWESOME. I cannot begin to describe just how friggin' cool this is. Thank you for taking a stand and saying something! Men can be sex objects, too! This has just made my day...good thing, too, I'm late for work! :P

I LOVE YOU! (and putting your story on the faves, yup yup). this is so funny and incredibly true. Guys who dance are cool, because 1. they wear tight clothes to dance and 2. have great great bodies. m. naturally, they are generall gay. DAMN. but this is so true. We run around in varying states of nudity, and they're all TOTALLY COVERED. so not fair. a guy's hindquarters is generally his best asset (hehe, I made a pun. go me.) anyway, v. v. good.

haha someone said they would hate to see the guys they know in skirts and i believe earlier in this essay, you mentioned not wanting to see guys in spandex. i am sad to say i have seen one of my friends in a tutu and other in, yes thats right, spandex with sparkles on it. hahaha pretty amusing. but...off topic
funny essay, made me laugh

You know, I've thought this for a long time. I totally agree. Your style vaguely reminds me of Dave Barry (with the 'bottom of their shoes' line, "You were a man who wore a skirt. We are glad you are dead," and a couple others). But I've got to say, I have seen some very sexy kilt-wearing men. And just out of curiosity, have you seen Troy? On one hand, men in skirts. On the other hand, Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom nudity. Which one would win?
I hope I remember to try the old-guy ass-shake image the next time someone pisses me off. You're right, that would probably work quite well.
All the best,
SLH

::shudders:: The idea of seeing any of the guys I know in skirts...bleagh. Just disturbing. This is really funny. I recently went to a comic book convention, and there were several guys wearing skirts. I applaud them...but I dearly hope that none of my male friends will join them.
ps. I love the Red Sox. Down with the Yankees.

Very funny. Strange, in a good, humorous kind of way. : ) Good job.

hahahahaha, so funny. I was laughing the whole time. Is it cool if I use a sentence for a quote on my profile? "I think the ogling of butts relationship needs to see a little give and take, before the boys have the market cornered." or this one "Where are the last outposts of the hot butts?" And it's so true, you know, now they sell pants with the boxers sewn in, they're like fake baggy pants. I have long been deprived of the butt watching, so sad. I mean, I'm not a butt fanatic, but I haven't seen one good butt, for what, like 5 months. It's just not right.

I agree. All men SHOULD be made to walk aroudn shirtless, with pants to ascent their ass. Unless they have no ass. then slightly baggy is fine. Or if they're hidoeus, then whatever. Or if they're related to me.
But cute men should be shirtless. I mean, I know that to get a guy you have to show clevege and leg so why the hell souldn't it be the other way around? You hear that guys, we want clevage! Er... Chests! Well definded chests!

just wanted to tell you that i found your essay really amusing.
anyway, i think that both men and women don't like being treated like mere sex objects because it is degrading. i, myself, don't enjoy being portrayed as some sexual object. it's like having people think of you as a toy that can be used for a person's pleasure and then discarded when a better one is found to take your place.
i read in a survey that men don't like being used. you can conclude then that men don't like being used to appease the sexual pleasure of both women and gays.

i love you b, you're hilarious. You make an excellent pt. Guys just have too much of an ego to be someone elses object. They need to be... 'large and in charge' to quote you from part of your essay that has nothing to do with what i'm talking about. I guess the only men who would really admit to being someone elses play thing would have to be gay... but i guess that would work well for you, wouldn't it. Keep writing.
3/14/2004 c1 232karmakaze
No, the butt is really not attractive at all.
3/6/2004 c1 9Admiral Rupert
Wow. I never really thought of things that way... I myself don't wear extremely baggy pants, but for the sake of girls who disagree with you, they're not tight pants.
This was... amusing, to say the least; I don't know if your point was serious or not, but it was well-presented in either case.
