I actually read this poem because I wrote one similar to it, once. . .and your take on it is very interesting. I suppose not so surprising, but interesting all the same :) The words you use really give the poem a very consise feel, and definitely give it a sharper edge. Nice job :)

Man, I so agree with this..
Bleh, stupid happy endings.. But actually, if you observe fairy tales properly, some of them do have more serious undertones, some which are so well hidden to brainwash kids..
Hmm, yes nice comparison and adding in all the more famous fairy tales in a poem, yet rhyming at the same time..
That has got to be talent..
Interestin yes, and I do agree with you.. I hate happy fairy tale endings.. Especially when they go 'for ever after'.. Yeah right..
Oh yes, that's why I loved it when people write twisted fairy tales..
Maybe you should try too..

That's a good question.
I hate happy ending's, but that's just me.
I read tons of Lurlene McDanial books, in almost every book someone dies, some of them almost, ALMOST make me cry.
My friend says I'm obbsessed with death, but I'm not realy obbsessed with it.
