Alende get permission to go on a dangerous journey that'll probably kill him. (well that's what i'd think) Hmm . . . . i think that'd be very futile to try and even write that, but i'm glad this is focused on Alende, i quite like him.

Hmm, yeah, asking your parents' permission to go on a dangerous journey does sound fruity.
So how did Alende end up there, so far from his real home? And who's the stranger with a weird scar? So many questions, so little criticism.
Though the dialogue at the beginning sounds to me too cliched, I think.
I hope you'll finish this one eventually too!
