wow, this is really good. it's probably just me, but i got this kinda morbid image of a water lily slightly sinking in a lake with bloody water . . . *sigh* must be all the morbid poems i've been reading lately. :) at any rate, this is an amazing haiku (yet again). my favorite line was "leaden with weakness." excellent work.
