OMG! This has got to be the best poem I've read today; and I've read a LOT today, all angst of course, that's my style. But wow, yes, you've conveyed those feelings so well. I feel that I can completely relate to them. It's so sad... but it so true. Sometimes I feel a lot like that too.. sometimes my smiles are hollow and lack happiness or even emotion.
But I loved your poem. You're just the kind of author I look for. On the favourites you go!
