Ignoring the occasional missing comma, this was a nice little story; kind of like a shot of espresso. You know, a highly concentrated dose of literature that can be ingested on the go and make one feel sophisticated. Nicely done.

Fabulous ending to a pretty good story.
The prose at the beginning seems a bit awkward. However, the ending was fantastic. Maybe just a little reworking of the beinning few paragraphs, and you'd have a cracker jack story on your hands.
