It is always the little things that you mess up in the typo dept., huh? Sure -you spell Hawaii and alright correctly, but then somebody has to come along and point out "az zoo".
I keep forgetting to mention the great imgry! last chapter was insomniacs too. The whole thing just works!

Don't you hate typos? In two of my works here I put in trAIl of trIAl.
Dad is DD once. The story made me forget the others.
I like the details. Last chapter was the thing about he OJ being from concentrate.
There was the couch here and ... they are just sprinkled everywhere!
I like the slight sadness. It seems as we have traveled into this world - like a MYST link. It seems real, alive.
I do not have anything uploaded here like this yet.

Such a sweet story. Makes me feel good reading it.
Nice imagry and I have a good sense of the characters. Dead animal on his head - haha!
Watch for typos, they are sneaky!
(example - you call Holden Holder near the end as he prepares to cook. And you sometimes miss a small word.) Nothing big.
I find myself sucked into the flow of this scene painted by a first-person narrator.
Again, I love the sweetness. I wish I could write more sweet stories like this. That is why I am putting it in my favorite story list.
