actually, i understood this story quite well. your writing reminds me VERY MUCH of tanith lee's books.
I mean a LOT. and i love tanith lee. it's hard to write in that kind of style...so you get cookies!

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Hmm... As soon as Goderich started talking about sweets and candy, I knew he was a perverted rapist that preyed on younger women! Well, we don't know that, but I think thats what he is. Hansel and Gretel seem a little suspicious, too. A lot of these characters jump right out of a story book! I love it! :-D Have you ever read "Politically Correct Bedtime stories/Once Upon a More Enlightened Time"? I believe it is out of print (fortunetly I have a copy), but if you can get your hands on one at a used book store, online, or at the library, I suggest you do so. I will have to find it and look up the author. My bookshelves contain many books after all, and it may be a while until I find that book. However, if you do come across it, the book is a great read, full of short stories of faerie-tales. They put a new 'spin' on them. Message me for details about the book.

Maybe it's just me, but this chapter made it seem like Jacques isn't AS bad as he seems, though there is little improvement. This story is going great!

The art of Glamour seems perfect for Dominique. Thank you very much for shedding some more light on her stag condition - I was looking forward to hearing more about it. The only thing I want to bring up is Georges' discussion with Dominique about remembering her life. It allows me to understand clearly what Georges is trying to teach, and it's an excellent thought to consider, but the member bit seems out of place. Not the idea, but the word itself, although I can see no other word to replace it with. Can't wait to see Dominique fly again! And become a stag. So cool.

I have to say that you lost me a little in the beginning there. It wasn't confusing, but it seemed like a string of very numb explanations. Although, considering Ankou's state at this moment, it is understandable. And then...what an unexpected turn you have taken.
