for Meaning

I think that you are right: humans are meaningless, so is life. I understand your feeling. My mom always says that life is complicated and that I have to adapt myself to it, but I just don't want to because I don't see the point. That was an interesting reflexion of life.

that was really good. Sets a diffent twist on life its self. Short but meaningful and powerful. WRITE A FANFIC ON IT!

life has no meaning? can i peek behind your mask? i'm not trying to be scary- but, i'm interested in life, death and well, a lot of things. Read my essay too, can you? love to hear from you- what you think- if you believe what i believe in. fav. list.

A little too depressed for my taste, but I think you've hit on something important-any 'meaning' of life's gonna be a lie. There's not some absolute answer to anything about us humans, because all of human society is a construct, a mutual agreement among individuals, with arbitrary rules and arbitrary values. The only meaning of life is what we decide the meaning is.

That's my take on this.

I like your take on this...it's very interesting. It comes across quite bitter, but then again I consider that to be a taste of reality. I think you may have inspired me to write my views on the subject down...

Nice. I've had the same thoughts from time to time, but I still can't figure out why the universe itself exists. If you think about it, the universe itself doesn't even make sense-how on earth does something just happen, without something preceding it? And isn't it impossible that everything has always been here. That's always bothered me. If everything is pointless, then why is it here at all? It's like somehow you have a car, all elaborate with it's engines and explosions, but you can't drive, and there's no such thing as a car manufacturer. You just somehow *got* the car.

At the same time, we may go through our lives, only living one lie after another, just to pass the time, because we see no real *meaning* to it all.

Wow, dude, just wow. I mean you were talking aobut this today to me and maybe sometimes I'm too dense to get things, I blame the blonde hair, but seriously wow. Maybe reading it got to me more or something but wow. I mean I know for a fact that you put up a front, I mean, you know that I do too but still I think the only word to describe this is wow. Just glad to hear that you don't plan to "end it all", cause this afternoon when you were talking I was interuptting that it was but glad to hear its not. Talk to you in a bit online bye

I agree whole heartly. I really dont see any meaning and then there is those that romanticize our lives as something grandiose. Plus i agree wit how u dont show ur true face, cause up to now my family dont know it but there is only one person who has gotten to see the rest of the iceburg and not just the tip

the idea of dying a little every day, from the day you were born, that is a really interesting way of looking at it... my way of coping, avoid thinking about it too much, go through life and be happy.. i liked it though(the story thing) it was good.

keep it up!
