Is this an autobiography?
You say it so simply: "...the loss of my innocence..."
Can you say thing like this? With no regrets, I mean.
If you can, then you really /are/ lost.

I'm not sure what to say to this, except that I feel that Stephen Bedwell was pointlessly unpleasant to you.

It's good that you take pride and happiness in the suffering and uncertainty of others, isn't it?
Is that what you meant by the loss of your innocence?
Whenever I see people who think they are smart, beautifal and cocky, the kind who grab people by the scruff of the neck and tell them they're not good enough to look at them, I vomit with rage. Going through parental and social suffering is hardly an excuse to multiply it upon everyone around you.
I'll bet you didn't like what was happening to you when you were 11. Kids like you now probably told you that you were little or nothing because you hadn't suffered, and you weren't tough. Now you are those kids. The product of neglect and hate, a seed germinated from a tree of misunderstanding, planting itself in the earth and growing more seeds of such.
It annoys me that I'm the only one I know who's gone through this that isn't rude to people who don't ask for it.

Yes, and to round off the goth chick stereotype, you write angst. Tell me something: do you enjoy being a cliche?

Wonderfully written, though very short. This is a very personal peice and you really have guts to put it out here for everyone to read. Everyone goes through a their own coming of age, and while everyone comes out differently, it is always a somewhat sad change.
