True ugliness comes from inside. Some people are like certain paintings. From a distance its a masterpiece, but close up, its a disaster. They may look good on the inside, but inside it's all rotten. It's sad, but true.
On a more serious note, you're only ugly if you think and feel that you are. I'm not a pretty sight myself, and I am the sad subject of prejudice by every good-looking girl I meet. Wow, I think there's a poem in that.
I'm glad there's someone else in there who's in the same boat as me: lost in a sea of apathy, looking for an island of caring and truth. I'd better write a poem about this fast!
As you probably guessed, I love the poem.
