So what has he foreseen? The doctors' demise, or his own? Or just something else? Is he trying to tell them the story because he no longer has a pen?
I wonder. It's creepy and strange and curious. I'm not certain whether I believe he's mad or prescient... it's gorgeous, either way. Wonderful, lovely, painfully beautiful job. I like this very much, and the voice in which you wrote the narrator immediately draws you in and keeps you there, kind of like his thoughts/stories do to him. Wonderful story. ^_^

I thought it was a highly well-written piece of work. Its really lets you see what Merill is like and what he thinks and how he works.
