A drabble is exactly 100 words no more no less. Some are more lax and are 200 words {double drabble} but 99% of drabbles are only 100 words. People just don't know the real definition. This is not a drabble.

this is very vivid and it definitely brought me into the mind of the young man. i like the way you incorporate the voices- it makes the piece much more interesting. good job!

This was very well-written! You are a great writer. Seriously, you are and I look forward to seeing more from you.

This was amusingly cool, and one of those "apply situation here" type stories, which I love. I could actually see myself in there, which was another thing I liked. Especially the "Yeah, like hell I was listening. I never listen."

hahah! I loved this...even the name is really authentic, sounds like something that a real person would have yet it fit the story so well. thanks for reviewing my stuff and the encouragement...you're not so bad yourself :)

"Yeah, like hell I was listening. I never listen." I love it. Ahaha, you made this so REAL. . . The snatches of conversation were great. And the last paragraph made such a great finish. It sort of closed it up without making it feel like the end. More like the end of the night, rather than the end of the story, if you see what I'm saying. I dunno, I make no sense. But this was great. The description was just awesome. The whole thing was!

I love this! I don't know a lot about James Dean but if he's supposed to b the main charactre in this then I really want to check him out. :) All I know is that he's from the 50s...? I just love how you kind of kept the main character a secret from us and made his thoughts sound so real. You're a truly talented writer. :)

That is simply lovely. I'm a humongous fan of James Dean, and I can see how this could be him. But like you said, it could be anyone. And even though it's rather angsty, I kind of agree with his theory. We all have our secrets, and...I don't know, I guess I feel that in reality, we ARE all alone. =) Great story. Marvelous.
