You know you can't say anything bad about tributes even if you were to find fault in the writing style (that's more a matter of personal taste than a problem with the storyline itself). Writing is good to express what someone means to you, but even better is when they know while they're still with us. Maybe a day will come when posthumous accolades will be mere dressing to punctuate how we feel about those around us because there will no longer be any misunderstandings, arguments, or utter silence, and no more ex-lovers, strangers, or outcasts.

OK, I couldn't log in, but I'm the one who wrote diary of a dumb girl. thanks for the review! and for your poem, it reminded me of a time when a swimmer from a different club wrote a "poem" for one of our trainers and it sounded a bit like that. But I liked the mold part, it was cool. you're a very good writer, continue! (as we say in french)

Rather than writing about the bad/sad, you wrote about the good, and that's what makes this poem so heartfelt. I like this one, as well.
