anywho, very nice poetry you've got here
only thing i'd change would be the "can't" into "can not" in the last stanza
you said in your summary you wanted to know where to put this. i'm not sure, but i think there's an inspirational section for poetry. i'm not sure though. maybe just a new genre.

Good poem. Very interesting... It reminds me of a poem written by Paul Lawrence Dunbar and another by Maya Angelou. Are you aware of their work? I bet you are.
