Hey! You updated! For a minute there I thought that you scrapped this one. Good to see that you're still willing to continue on with it.
Well... once again you stunned me with the wonderful dialogue between your real characters. I absolutely was astounded by the two main discussions, the first one being between Kaori and Jiro and the second one being between Kaori and Haruko. The intelligent exchange of words coupled by your stunning explanation of what the character's felt was truly amazing and very well done. Good Job.
Ah... so Kaori's going to find the assassin eh? Hm... for her to carry on such a difficult task alone, I applaud her for her bravery (or anger). And Haruko not even volunteering to come along to avenge the murder of his father makes me wonder if he had anything to do with the assassination. Hm... very suspicious...
And the fight scenes... what can I say. Terrific and very vivid like I was watching some Hong Kong or Chinese Kung Fu movie. There were some parts that looked a bit choppy but I believe that it did only a little to stain the beautiful exchange of blows between Kaori and Jiro. Good enough for me.
And it seems like the humble stable keeper, Sasuke, has a dark side to him. Hm... ninja's eh... and what operation was he talking about? Lots of questions to spice up the story, I see.

Oh wow! Let me tell you that you really do have a promising story here! Nope, this is no courtesy review. This is the real thing. This story is great and better than most of the stories I've spotted. The description and the narration of each and every single event was complete and stunning. You really never missed a single detail, something that I've struggled to do. Great work!
Your characters are also very real. I absolutely love Kaori - your spunky little girl/fierce warrior type. Although I thought that she was an obnoxious brat at the start, I suddenly saw her as a concerned daughter with a genuine love for her father at the end. She wasn't a brat at all - she was just being true to herself.
Her brother is also an interesting person to look forward too (I guess that he'll probably excell at later chappies ne?). Fighting with the emperor before the latter was assassinated... hm... kinda fishy if you would ask me... Nevertheless I like the secluded, intellectual type so I'm still going to give him the benefit of the doubt.
And who is this mask man? What was his intention in assassinating the emperor? Was it revenge or was he employed? Ah... so many questions!
I do hope that you would continue with this type. Catch the next chappie of Sono Shuushi Kakumei (SSK?) soon! =)
