Haha hey I just wanted to say I totally know what it's like to be fired. I worked at this golf course last summer and everything was fine, i was told i was too quiet but really i got the job done (waitressing/beer cart). And then I was working there again this year, in like May and part of June... there wasn't many hours cuz the weather was crap... but then out of no where my boss ( who was supposed to be a friend) fired me for being "unfriendly" and "lazy". Neither were true cuz I was more friendly and did more this year then last year, and was really good the "important" (aka they're always there) members of the course. It was just that the rest of the staff (well most) didn't like me because I didn't fit in with them, and seeing as he wanted to sleep with one of them he fired me.

I hate that guy. I ended up with a better paying job where i didn't have to do anything at all summer.

WOW! perhaps the best story ive ever read. WOW! why don't you publish it...i know i would deff buy it if you did. Wow! i wish i could write...geesh i'm lost for words...

god! wow. oh i love Jake, and Kat's cool personality. I probally would have been the one who crakced, i would have been in tears ages ago. she held it way together, and the best part, although it was a romance (sorta...u gotta admit it) it wasn't extreemly soppy. i don't like very soppy stories, but this,this deff got you 10/10. well done.

you should be extreemly proud of yourself and this work.

Aw... It's definitely different from your other stories. The guy is very distant, but still understanding and he has problems that Kat can relate to. It's still cute, of course, but the romance takes a very different direction. No confessions (per se), no big moments of decision. Just enter their lives and exit just as quietly. Nice, but I, being the story-lover that I am, will still be hoping for a continuation. Whether it happens or not, I enjoyed this read of Kat and Jake (even if my brothers were making a racket behind me about computer turns the whole time), thanks for writing it, please continue writing. ^_^

I loved your story! Jake is an awesome charecter, very much reminded me of one of my friends (also named Jake..)However, I demand a Sequel. I like Jake, and I want to know more about him... :)

hi, i just read ure story all in one go... it was so good! i so identified with kat (that doesn't seem like a good thing, but in some ways it is...)

Oh! I so agree! (about the men suck part) Because I had a feeling before, because HE said something about it to me, but my bff and a couple other friends told me today that my first bf still loves his ex, and that he's been threatening my friends. But that's not the point. The point is that your story so totally rocks! :P
